[SM: Chapter 6.1] Doodlez

Rasa: *yawns and walks down-stairs, searching for a free looking white side kid*

Rubi:*spots Rasa as she walked down stairs and is surprised since whenever she saw her, she was either lazing around or sleeping. But since Rasa was awake, she finally had the chance to approach her* Hello!

Rasa: *notices a shorter white side girl* Yo. You are free right now? *Rasa finds the whole deal of needing a pair troublesome, but it is better than ending up dead*

Rubi:*nods* I'm totally free! Ah, I'm Rubi. *smiles*

Rasa: *looks relieved* Rasa. *says her name and starts walking, then gestures with her hand for Rubi to come along. She was heading down-stairs.*  

Rubi:*wonders what her name stands for but just agrees to come along and follows her down stairs*

Rasa: *heads to the study room and to hot drink dispensers and presses the buttons for hot milk and once she gets them, hands one of them to Rubi*

Rubi:*didn't expect to get one and hesitantly takes it* T-thank you... *sips*

Rasa: *drinks her milk and well and heads to one of the wide windowsills with pillows on it - sits down and gestures to Rubi to come as well. It is pouring buckets outside and Rasa turns her eyes to look at it, it feels incredibly comforting to her to sit inside in a warm and dry place with a warm drink, a smile settles on her face.*  

Rubi:*sits down and drinks her milk. It was surprisingly very comfortable* Hmm~ I think I will like this place. *smiles*

Rasa: *nods with a smile* I like it as well. *keeps looking outside at the gray clouds and red and yellow leaves falling in the wind. Outside is always interesting to observe, she finds. And rainy days were really easy to sleep in, she carefully glanced at Rubi, wondering if the milk is doing any of its magic*  

Rubi:*keeps drinking the milk and looks outside. The rain didn't seem to stop soon* I wonder if the sky is crying... *mutters and drinks her milk until there's nothing left and puts it aside. She was getting tired*

Rasa: *had finished drinking her milk as well and put it aside, then found a really comfortable pose on the pillows and kept looking at the sky, slowly drowsing off*

Rubi:*tries not to fall asleep, but it was difficult watching as her companion is slowly drowsing off* Rasa, you won't mind if I join you, will you...? *getting quieter and closes eyes, drowsing off, too*

Rasa: *looks through her eyelashes, when she hears Rubi saying something, but closes her eyes, seeing Rubi falling asleep as well. According to plan, she thought and fell asleep with a slight smile, to wake up about four hours later, when it was time for lunch. As the lunch-time came, her eyes popped open and she glanced at Rubi to see if she was awake or still sleeping.*

Rubi:*is still sleeping. Though she did wake up two hours ago, but since Rasa was still asleep (waking her up was out of the question) she decided to keep sleeping as there was nothing to do*

Rasa: Wake up, it's lunch time, *she says and lightly pokes Rubi*

Rubi:*groans and slowly open her eyes* 'Morning... *looks sleepy*

Rasa: Morning, *says simply and takes Rubi's hand, pulling her to walk after her to the dining room*

Rubi:Ehh-- *just goes along and walks to the dining room* Lunch time already?

Rasa: Yes.*seems content with lunch time being here and goes to sit down and starts putting food on her plate right away*

Rubi:*puts food on her plate as well* Bon appetit. *she says and starts eating*

Rasa: *her mouth is full, so she only nods at the comment and keeps eating, soon enough being full. Casts a glance at Rubi, wondering if she's done with eating yet or not.*

Rubi:*just finished eating and swallowed the last bits of food in her mouth* Thanks for the food!

Rasa:*seeing that Rubi is also done with her food, she stands up and steps back from the table, then waits for Rubi to follow*

Rubi:*stands up and follows Rasa* What are we doing next?

Rasa:*tilts head lightly* No idea. Any desires?

Rubi:Hmm... not really... *thinks about what they can do. Then something came to her mind* Wanna go out and play in the rain?

Rasa: *squints her eyes* Not really-- But we can go for a walk, if that counts. Or anything without too much risk of getting my ears wet.

Rubi:*nods* You can use an umbrella to be extra safe. *smiles*

Rasa: Troublesome. *says simply and heads to the wardrobe taking out a raincoat with a big hood and puts it on* If I'm not running, ears are safe like this.

Rubi:*chuckles and takes out a raincoat as well, then two pairs of boots for her and Rasa*

Rasa: *takes the boots and puts them on, then starts moving towards the doors*

Rubi:*walks towards the doors slightly faster to open them for Rasa*

Rasa: *nods lightly like saying thanks and goes out, then waits for Rubi. The rain was simmering in small droplets and made it hard to see in the distance*

Rubi:*looks around and spots some puddles a few meters away. She couldn't resist but run towards them and jumps in, making the water splash*

Rasa: *feels glad she didn't run right behind Rubi, she'd be wet then for sure. She chooses to go around the puddle keeping her distance and stands on the road a bit further away. Rain hushes most sounds around them and makes the air refreshing, even if wet. Rasa looks up at the seemingly white sky, but looks down soon enough brushing the water off her face.* I miss the sun, *she whispers*  

Rubi:*stops playing around the puddles and looks at Rasa* Did you say something? *walks towards her*

Rasa: Nothing important, *she says and starts walking down the sandy road* I wonder how long this rain will last... *sighs*

Rubi:*looks up at the sky while walking next to her* Well, rain isn't that bad. *smiles*

Rasa: It's wet and cold. *shrugs, but keeps walking*  

Rubi:Maybe summer rain is better... The raindrops on flower and after that a rainbow. *eyes sparkle*

Rasa: Still wet. *frowns a bit* But summer is nice.

Rubi:You really are no fan of rain, are you? *laughs*

Rasa: *nods* Sun is better.

Rubi:Then... the sun better come out soon for Rasa! *looks up at the sky then at Rasa, still walking down the road*

Rasa: It should. *nods and continues walking for a little bit then stops and looks sideways - in the forest, further away from the road, something or someone seems to be moving, and not just one person. Rasa's ears raise up, she is alarmed.*

Rubi:*stops walking as well  after noticing that Rasa stopped. She looks at the same direction to see... trees* Is there something?

Rasa: I sense something off-- we better head back. *she cast a distraught look at Rubi*

Rubi:*nods and starts walking back, still looking at the direction*

Rasa: *prefers not look, deeper into the forest, around the place where the well is, there is a misty place that seems rowdy and Rasa can't shake off the feeling that something is terribly wrong there. Between trees from time to time movement similar to humans walking appears, but fades into the mist.*

Rubi:*sees one of the movements and instantly hugs Rasa's arm* L-let's hurry back... *says with a shaky voice*

Rasa: *nods and starts walking faster, soon enough arriving at the doors and heads in, instantly feeling better, when inside the house.*

Rubi:That sure was a short walk. *chuckles and takes off her raincoat*

Rasa: *takes her raincoat off as well* That was something bad. *she said not seeming amused one bit*

Rubi:Sorry... *takes off her boots* ...but I'm not good with those things. *looks at Rasa while trying her best to not shed any tears*

Rasa: *surprised about her expression and does't know what to do* I'm not good with them either... Let's go have some milk? *suggests and heads to study room, trying to hide her awkwardness; warm milk always makes things better, at least so she believes*

Rubi:*nods and follows her to the room. This time she gets the hot milk and hands one of them to Rasa*

Rasa: *takes the milk with a small thankful nod and goes to one of the sofas this time to drink it, while trying not to think about what she saw just now*

Rubi:*takes a seat on the sofa and enjoys drinking her milk with Rasa once again*

Rasa: *sitting in a warm place and drinking something warm makes her feel better instantly.* What do you usually do around here? *she asked trying to talk, so that she could avoid thinking about the weird mist*

Rubi:Hmm... *thinks about it* I usually don't go to the study room that often... I'm not particularly interested in books, except picture books *mumbles the last part* BUT the atmosphere here is great!

Rasa: *nods, agreeing about the atmosphere* I come here to sleep.

Rubi:Hehe, kinda figured that. It's quiet and warm. *drinks her milk*

Rasa:*nods* There's an even better place up-stairs. *mentions, then sips more of her milk*

Rubi:*eyes sparkle when she heard what Rasa said* An even better place? *leans forward to Rasa, quite close, but leans back again when something popped in her mind* It's not the girl's bedrooms, is it?

Rasa:*shakes head* Smaller library on the third floor. *finishes drinking her milk and goes to drink dispensers to get a cup of hot chocolate this time* Same? *asks while pointing at the button for hot chocolate, like asking if she should make another one for Rubi as well*

Rubi:*holds up her cup of milk which was not empty yet* I didn't know there was a smaller library. You know more about this building than me, I guess. *laughs*

Rasa: *nods slightly and doesn't press the button for another hot chocolate* Let's go up?

Rubi:Yes! *nods in excitement and goes out of the study room, waiting for Rasa to come* Third floor, right? *asks to make sure she heard right*

Rasa: *nods and walks towards the stairs, following Rubi*

Rubi:*goes upstairs until they reach the third floor. Looks around to see doors, of which some are closed and probably locked as well* Which room? *looks at Rasa, smiling*

Rasa: That one. *points at the doors further away down a hallway*

Rubi:*nods and walks towards the door. While walking down the hallway her gaze was focused on the glass ceiling and misses the door to the library*

Rasa: *sees that Rubi is walking past the doors, catches her by hand* It's here, *opens the doors to the library, revealing the smaller and more cozy and warm looking place than the study room below. It has the same wide windowsills with pillows on them.*  

Rubi:Ohh, sorry. The rain on the windows were really distracting. *looks into the room and is fascinated by the cozy atmosphere* I'm definitely gonna like this place!

Rasa: *nods, not minding it much, then heads into the library. As soon as the doors behind them are closed, all the other sounds pass and the sound of raindrops on the windows is the only one remaining.* I like it too.

Rubi:*takes a sip from her milk before putting it on a table. She takes a look at the shelves and the books* Those books differ quite much from the study room...

Rasa: They do? *walks closer and reads some titles, Rubi is right, these are storybooks* I see. *nods, but, without picking any, walks to the windowsill and makes herself comfortable on it*  

Rubi:*spots one of her favorite books and picks it up; "Little Red Riding Hood" by Charles Perrault. She takes back her milk and walks to the windowsill, accompanying Rasa*

Rasa: *casts a curious look at the book, she isn't all that fond of reading herself, so it was odd when others did that without being told to* Will you read it?

Rubi:*didn't think of reading it out loud but to read for herself, so she was surprised by the question* Do you want me to? I'll gladly read it if you want. *smiles*

Rasa: ah--no, I'm not... *she got a bit flustered, but calmed down soon* Do you like them? Books.

Rubi:*thinks that Rasa's expression was really cute but decides not to say it* I only like books with pictures in it. I especially like fairy tales and this room seems to have enough of them. Thanks for showing me the room, Rasa!

Rasa: *liking pictures made complete sense, that was a relief - she could relate to that* No problem.

Rubi:*smiles and takes a sip from her milk. She puts it aside and opens the book; the first site had a picture of the hooded girl in a forest - it was the cover image*

Rasa: *has made herself comfortable and peeks at the images over Rubi's shoulder, holding her cup of warm drink with both hands*

Rubi:*casts a quick glance to Rasa, not expecting her to be peeking, and flips to the next page* Once upon a time there was a dear little girl who was loved by everyone who looked at her, but most of all by her grandmother, and there was nothing that she would not have given to the child. *she read*

Rasa: *puts her head on Rubi's shoulder to see better and listens to the tale*

Rubi:*is glad that Rasa actually listens to her reading. She flips to the next page and reads the text next to the picture*

Rasa: *The book isn't thick and soon enough the story is over. She has managed to not sleep so far, but by the time Rubi says 'The end', she is close to falling asleep. A couple of blinks and her eyes close to sleep, her head still on Rubi's shoulder.*

Rubi:*doesn't expect Rasa to fall asleep, especially with her head on her shoulder. Rubi can't help but smile, puts the book aside and closes her eyes, soon falling asleep as well*

Neo: *spots a new face and is very fast to approach* Hello! Are you new? *smiles warmly and his tail wags*  

Winter: *is loitering around the corridors when suddenly a cumimi suddenly spoke. Winter almost jumped* "......" *looks at Neo, thinking of what to do* "......i-i'm new"

Neo: My name is Neo, what's yours? *grins happily*

Winter:  ...Winter. *looks at the ecstatic Neo, wondering why he's so happy. Is he up to something...*

Neo: Winter - that's a cool name! *goes around him and spotting no tail, tries to spot ears - there seem to be no human ears sticking out, but... no obviously animal ears either. He spots some scales* What is your root, by the way? *asks curiously*

Winter: *he could feel sweat dripping down his forehead...like i haven't heard that one before..* Snake. I'm a snake... *feels really awkward, and tries to say something back* And...you're a dog...right...

Neo: A snake, huh? That's cool! Do you have poison? *eyes sparkle curiously* Uh-huh, a newfoundland dog, I think that was the name. *nods with a smile*

Winter: *looks nervously at Neo. More questions?? I need to escape somehow..* ...well..no one ever touches the food i've eaten...maybe i have poison...i don't know..i know that i'm a black mamba.. *tries to answer as quickly as possible, and then slowly walks away*

Neo: *follows the walking Winter, clearly not getting the fact that Winter isn't comfortable* Eee, that's fancy. Want to play?

Winter: *feels a presence behind him, and turns around to see Neo was still there. He clutches his head with his hands and sighs. Winter believed Neo was probably never going to leave, and decided to just humor him a bit.* ...if you're really bored, then alright. What do you want to play, Neo? *avoids looking at Neo's eyes, looks at his ears instead.*

Neo: *thinks a bit* How about treasure hunt? Like - both of us hide one thing around the house and describe it in a few words. Who finds the other's item first - wins. The winner gets-- hmm-- Does this work? *takes out a bunch of candies in shiny wrapping from a pocket*

Winter: *looks at the candies, a little disappointed, but there wasn't any disadvantage to this.* Yes, alright. ...But the house is kind of big, ...right? *frowns and looks up at Neo, but he starts thinking of a suitable object anyway*

Neo: true... then how about white side unused rooms? There's one next to our room and other across the hallway. *shows a peace sign*

Winter: Hm, that would be more manageable...*looks right and left at the two rooms* ...s-so should we each take a room? Then hide something in there? *taps his finger on his lips, thinking*

Neo: Uh-uh! *nods and picks the doorknob of the empty girl's room, then turns around* What are you going to hide? I'll be hiding...hmm-- *searches his pockets and finds a orange marble in it* this one.
   
Winter: hmmm *searches his pockets to find a suitable object, but nothing surfaces. He remembers that he doesn't really bring along anything. He unties his black bow around his neck, and holds it in his hand* Do you think this will be fine?

Neo: *nods* That works! When you are done, simply come out of the room. *heads in the empty girl's side room and closes the doors behind him. After sniffing around for a while, he decides to hide the marble under one of the mattresses and comes out in the hallway pretty soon*  

Winter: *sees Neo disappear into the other room so he enters his own room and closes the door. There wasn't much in the room, spare some beds and a cabinet and some chairs. He walked to the cabinet and tried to place the bow on top of the cabinet. Unfortunately, he was too short to reach. He cursed and then grabbed a chair and stood on it to put the bow on top of the cabinet. After doing so, he stepped down and moved the chair back to its original spot.* ...this should do.. *walks back to the door and leaves the room. Neo was already standing out there, waiting.*

Neo: Yo! Done? *grins*

Winter: *nods at Neo.* "...so do i go search for it now? Or should i describe to you the location?" *looks at door across from him and back at Neo*

Neo: Nah - just go in and search! Let's see who gets back first? *grins and heads into the room, where Winter hid his ribbon*

Winter: *sees Neo head into his room first and realizes he needs to make a move quick or else Neo will win. He rans into the room where Neo hid the marble. He looks around, not sure where to start. The room seemed pretty huge to him. He started by crouching on the floor lookind under the beds. No luck. He tried to use his sense of smell, remembering the scent of Neo. Maybe the marble has Neo's smell? He walked around the room trying to smell for the marble while ignoring other scents. It seemed like Neo walked in a general direction towards a bed. Winter flipped the pillow over, but there was nothing. He looked into the pillowcase, nothing. He searched underneath the blanket but there was nothing. Winter looked at the mattress, wondering if he was even strong enough to lift it to check. He took hold a side of the mattress and lifted as hard as he could. But alas, he was way too weak. Winter groaned and kicked the bed in frustration, however, he seemed to have bruised his toes while kicking.* Ughhh...#!$% *he covered his mouth realizing he accidentally picked up a swear he heard. he sighed again.*

Neo: *went inside the room and sniffed the air, following Winter's scent. At times he used his nose more than his own eyes, so it never occurred to him that this might make the whole deal of hiding things a bit useless. It didn't take long for him to trace Winter's tracks and he went by the cabinet. It was a tad higher than himself, but he could reach the top if he jumped and so he did. But at the same time as he pulled on the ribbon, he also pulled on the cabinet - it's doors opened and the cabinet shook and fell on top of Neo, trapping him inside. Luckily he wasn't hurt, but the cabinet was way too heavy to lift by himself either way. He could push it up, but since no one was there to hold it, he couldn't climb out.* Heeeeeeeey! HEEEEEEY! *he tried to make noise, hoping someone would notice*  

Winter: *was comtemplating about the mattress when he thought he heard a muffled cry from the room where Neo went into. A spirit..?? He wasn't sure if he was allowed to leave his room as part of the rules. Should i break the rules and go to the other room? But then...i would lose...hmm Seeing as how he couldn't lift the heavy mattress anyway, he left the room sadly and knocked on the door of the other room* U-um...Neo? Are you okay?

Neo: *hears Winter's voice* Heeeelp!

Winter: *hears a cry from underneath...a cabinet? Winter frowns, and approaches the screaming cabinet cautiously.* Neo, is it you? *knocks on the cabinet to make sure it's not haunted or something along those lines.*

Neo: Yup. It's me. *pushes the cabinet up with his legs, making a gap* Can you hold it for a bit?

Winter: *gulps and nods. He holds the heavy cabinet with some difficulty, but he makes sure its wide enough for Neo to pull through*

Neo: *rolls sideways and climbs out as fast as he can* Phew, you saved me... Thank you. *smiles happily* Right... *remembers about the ribbon in his hand* this is yours.  

Winter: *Winter looked at the ribbon sadly, realizing what this meant* I-i guess i lost. *took the ribbon from Neo's hand carefully, and put it in his pocket. He started walking to the door away from Neo when he stopped.* It was fun...Thank you..*looks at Neo, and nodded once*

Neo: Ah-- wait. You didn't lose...well, since you found me! *he caught up to him and reached out his hand with a half of the candies he had offered as a prize before* It's a tie.

Winter: *looked at Neo confusedly. He shook his head and kept his arms by his side.* A-ah..but i did lose...I can't take your prize. It's yours! So it's not fair to you... *closed Neo's hand with the candies and pushed it back a little*

Neo: Winter, can winner do anything with their prize? *grins mischievously* What if winner wants to share their prize with a friend?  

Winter: *looks suspiciously at Neo. Why did the word winner remind him so much of something...He couldn't put his finger on it...* ...i uh...but the winner should keep the prize...

Neo: But it ain't no fun to eat snacks alone, *says like it's the most obvious thing in the universe*

Winter: U-uh... *tries to think of an argument but he really didn't know anything about the effects of eating food alone or together* a-alright then..you win again. But if I were you, i'd safe keep them and eat those alone...

Neo: *hands him a half and grins, then opens one of them and pops into his mouth - they are all chocolates with all sorts of fruit fillings*

Winter: *opens one of the sweets, and discovers that they are chocolates. Winter looks worriedly at Neo.* I-I heard that chocolates are poison to dogs like you right..w-wait i don't think it's good for snakes too... *words turns into a mumble* Oh well, here goes nothing *bites into a chocolate. They're surprisingly good, and Winter couldn't help himself and ate another one unconsciously...and another one.*

Neo: *smiles* I'm not a dog, I'm a cumimi. I asked Maria about that - it's all good. *makes a victory sign and eats another candy, smiling happily seeing that the other one enjoyed them too*  

Winter: Phew..I-I'm glad cumimis aren't affected by human food then. Imagine all the stuff we can't eat as a result..*continues eating the candies, realizing he had finished it all. Winter covers his mouth in surprise.* These are s-surprisingly good, sorry if i look like a glutton. I haven't eaten anything since lettuce leaves, so... *looks a little embarrassed.*

Neo: Uh-uh, we are lucky! *smiles and finishes his own candy as well* Lettuce leaves? You like 'em?

Winter: W-well.. *unconsciously biting nails* I thought there was some kind of limit as to what i was allowed to eat when i first came here so i just took the first thing i saw...which was lettuce leaves. I'm used to eating less food because of..uh..circumstances? *thinks of the time when he lived in the rural areas*

Neo: *puts both hands on Winter's shoulders* You can eat everything here. Completely and absolutely everything - if someone says you something else, they are lying. Trust me.

Winter: *shuddered when Neo placed his hands on Winter's shoulders* O-oh okay...sorry i didn't know.. next time i'll try some meat if they have any in the cafeteria...  *confused about why anyone would lie about commodities at this church, but makes a note in his head* Uhh Neo, what do they serve here anyway?

Neo: All sorts of stuff-- I'll show you. *grins and pulls Winter with him, heading towards the cafeteria*

Rasa: *walks from the black-side hallway and into the white side hallway, then heads into the boy's room nonchalantly; She's wearing the boy's uniform, though.*

Ethan: *is humming a song while holding an armful of fresh cornbread* Hmmmhmmm <3 Ah, there's nothing like fresh baked cornbread on a nice sunny - *he pauses once he spots Rasa... and then unceremoniously stuffs the cornbread into his mouth* Mrmph! Urm....harroph....... *waves weakly as he painfully swallows all of the cornbread*

Rasa: *completely dumbfounded by this act and forgets the whole reason why she came here in the first place* ... You okay?

Ethan: *coughcough* Y-yeah....Of course I'm fine! W-why wouldn't I be? C-cornbread? What cornbread? I don't see any cornbread! You can't have any!

Rasa: *squints her eyes* ... Okay *having forgotten the reason she was there, she turns around and walks away*  

Ethan: H-hey! Wait up- *follows Rasa... for some reason Ethan is curious about her* Are you looking for something? Whatcha doing around here for?

Rasa: *doesn't wait, but the bird boy seems to keep up with her either way* A place to sleep... I guess?  

Ethan: Sleep?! Isn't is a bit early for that? *he tilts his head in curiosity*

Rasa: It is never too early to sleep. *says matter of factually and continues looking around*

Ethan: Hrmm.....I guess a nap now and then can't hurt..... Anyways.... I'm Ethan and I'm awesome! What's your name, pretty lady?

Rasa: *startles from being called pretty and looks at Ethan wth wide eyes, like 'what the heck did you say'*

Ethan: What's the matter? Do I have something on my face? *starts rubbing his cheeks to get rid of any breadcrumbs that might be on his face*

Rasa: *concludes that it wasn't a bad joke from the other and turns back to face front, a very slight tint of pink appearing on her cheeks. Continues walking without saying anything.*

Ethan: Hey! What up? What's wrong.... "cat" got your tongue? *Ethan chuckles to himself. He seems proud of his bad pun*

Rasa: *rolls her eyes* Another such pun and a cat will bite your tongue off.

Ethan: *Ethan laughs nervously and scratches the back of his neck* AHahah! No worries, pretty lady! It was just a joke! But it's good you can talk! So, what's your name? ^_^

Rasa:*a faint resemblance of a smile appears on her face* Rasa. I'll be going to nap then, *says and continues walking, looking around for a good place*  

Ethan: Ah.... I see.... Well, nice to meet you, Rasa! *bows his head slightly* I hope you have a good rest! ... Say.... when you're all rested up... do you want to.... I dunno..... hang out... with me? You know, just because it's awesome to hang out with someone awesome like me! Not that I'm lonely or anything!

Rasa: *stops and glances back at Ethan, she seems surprised and a bit confused at first, caught off guard, but then a warm smile appears on her face* I can skip napping this time, I guess.  

Ethan: R-really?!?! *his eye widen and a grin appears on his face* That's gre- *coughs* I mean.... That's good, you know.... Ahaha! So what do you want to do? Eat cornbread? Prank people? Catch frogs?

Rasa: *thinks about it* Aren't frogs sleeping already?

Ethan: Hrmmm....maybe? If so, then they'll be easier to catch >:3

Rasa: True... yes, we might do that. *her eyes light up at the idea*

Ethan: Great! Then afterwards, we can put them into people's shoes and watch them "hop" around! Hahahah!

Rasa: Pff, *she put her hand in front of her mouth not to laugh out loud* Fine with me.

Ethan: Hahah! You're a lot of fun! I like you 8D *grabs her hand and starts to tug her towards the door* Come on! Let's go get some frogs! ^^

Rasa: *turns around and tries to pull him towards the wardrobe* It's raining, need a raincoat.

Ethan: Oh.... hrmm, I guess a raincoat would be a good idea, hahaha!

Rasa: *nods and takes a raincoat out putting it on, then a pair of boots. When she's ready, goes to wait for the boy at the exit*  

Ethan: *stumbles around to get ready and then joins Rasa* Okie dokie! I'm all ready to go! (in his haste to get ready, he somehow put on the raincoat upside down)

Rasa: *squints her eyes* You'll get wet like this...  

Ethan: *ears turn red* I-I.... I'm not afraid of a little water.... but, if it'll make you feel better (turns the coat right side up) T-there! Umm.... L-let's go catch those frogs now! *hopes Rasa doesn't notice he's embarrassed*

Rasa: *nods and follows Ethan, it is clear to her that Ethan is embarrassed, but she doesn't comment on that, even if a small smile does appear on her face*

Ethan: Come on! This is PERFECT frog weather! *takes Rasa's hand and eagerly leads her towards the door* Hahah! I can't wait until we put those froggies into people's shoes!

Rasa: *follows him outside. A gust of humid air hit her face and she quickly pulled a cape over her head not to get her ears wet* So-- where do we search?

Ethan: Hrmmm.... to catch a frog.... one has to think like a frog! *he crouches on the ground like a frog and begins to hop* If I think like a frog...I'm bound to find one!

Rasa: *crouched down next to him* Sleepy frog. You need to find a place to sleep.

Ethan: Hrmmm..... but where would a sleepy frog sleep? Do they have....little froggy beds?

Rasa: *tilts her head, thinking* I doubt-- they need a place where they wouldn't freeze, I guess--

Ethan: Hrmm..... maybe if we listen really hard.... we can hear their frog-snores!

Rasa: How do frog snores sound?

Ethan: Hrmm.... well.... they make those...croaky noises? So in theory...they should be able to snore, right?

Rasa: Dunno. *shrugs shoulders, but closes eyes to listen* Don't hear anything odd.

Ethan: Hrmm.... maybe something ate all of the frogs! @__@

Rasa: That.... wouldn't that be bad? ' ___ '

Ethan: Yeah..... I guess so @__@ Poor frogs

Rasa: Means we can't catch them. ' ~ '

Ethan: Awww.... but I was so looking forward to jumping frogs in people's shoes....

Rasa: Yeah-- but we can't do it, if there's no frogs... Maybe some new ones will appear at spring. We can do that then.

Ethan: *pouts a bit* Aww.... and I was really looking forward to catching frogs with you....

Rasa: We can do it in spring. *says simply, not seeming to mind that there is a fair while before it comes*

Ethan: Yeah! I'd like that! Thank you, Rasa *grins widely*

Rasa: No problem. *mumbles and stands up from the crouching position she was in, while they were acting to be frogs* I'll go sleep then--

Rasa: *sits on the stairs leading to first floor and impatiently awaits lunch*

Holly: *casually comes down from the stairs, until she sees Rasa* Oh...hi there!

Rasa: *looks back to see who is talking, then turns back to face front and waves her hand a bit for an answer*

Holly: Ah...you're from the black side, aren't you?

Rasa: *nods, then glances at the other girl's uniform* White...Want to hang out?  

Holly: Of course!

Rasa: *waves with her hand to the other girl to sit down next to her* Lunch soon, need to stay on watch.

Holly: *sits down and waits, putting her hands in her lap* What are we having for lunch, you presume?

Rasa: *sniffs the air, but even if her nose was better than that of a human, it could not beat that of a dog. She frowns a bit and casts a look at the other girl* I think you can tell.

Holly: *sniffs the air, and grins* Yay~! Today we're having ham, cheese, and biscuits! For dessert we're going to have cinnamon peppered sweet rolls! Yummy!

Rasa: *nods at that looking content with the menu, a small smile settles on her face*

Holly: So...have you met any other Cumimis around here? I met a nice one named Neo!

Rasa: *shrugs when she hears about Neo being nice* I have met that one too. *nods*  And a blue haired sea critter and a red-haired squirrel girl, one scaly freak too.

Holly: Oh, Valen? I think I've heard of the 'scaly freak' you're talking about-Winter? He's not a freak! I like his scales. They look pretty, don't they?

Rasa: *nods about Valen* Not a fan of scales. *says simply*

Holly: Meh. *shrugs* What about Jan?

Rasa: Who is that?

Holly: Jan; he's from your side and I just went on a Soulmatch with him yesterday.

Rasa: I don't know him, whoever he is - it's not like names are written on them.  

Holly: You should meet him. He seems like your type.

Rasa: *sighs* Do you suppose I randomly walk around and ask for everyone's names? *starts to get irritated, normally one would at least describe others by their looks*

Holly: Well, I do. I was raised by Nana to ask for everyone's names in advance. *shrugs it off*

Rasa: *sighs* Well, I don't.

Holly: I see. So, it's getting kinda boring just sitting here. Wanna play?

Rasa: Nope. Lunch will be here in minutes. *says with confidence*

Holly: Oh....*seems rather sad*

Rasa: *doesn't pay attention to the other girl being sad and simply stares at the doors and like she said, they opened, and Maria called them all for lunch. At that moment Rasa stood up and ran towards the dining room, moved past Maria and sat down at one corner of the table, starting to put lots of food on her plate*

Holly: *runs toward Rasa and puts mostly meat and cinnamon sweet rolls on her plate, there's only one biscuit* You must be really hungry, huh?

Rasa: *nods and eats up a bit of everything with a blissful expression, soon enough finishing her meal*

Holly: *still biting at a piece of meat, looking at Rasa with a confused expression*

Rasa: *frowns a bit seeing her expression* What?

Holly: You ate so fast....aren't you gonna get indigestion?

Rasa: What's that?

Holly: It's when the food doesn't go to your stomach right, and then you get gas pains!

Rasa: *tilts head lightly* That hasn't happened before.

Holly: Really?

Rasa: Really. *doesn't leave her seat though and seems to be waiting for Holly to finish eating as well*

Holly: *soon takes the last of her cinnamon roll and looks at Rasa* Do you want it?

Rasa: *shakes head* Full.

Holly: *shrugs, and eats it* So, since we're done, what do you want to do now?

Rasa: *stands up and starts walking out of the dining room* Watch rain, while drinking warm milk.

Holly: What's so pretty about rain?

Rasa: Nothing. Easy to sleep, though.

Holly: Hm...that's true. So...how has your time been at this place?

Rasa: ...Okay, I guess.

Holly: I like it! It seems pretty good while being here with other kids like me!

Rasa: Good for you. *heads into the study room, then to drink-dispensers to get some hot chocolate*
