SM: Hide and seek

Neo: Who wants to play hide and seek? *calls out loudly*

Al: *stretches and stands up* I’m game!

Alicia: *pops out behind the door* Of course, I’m in!

Rubi: I want to play. *raises hand*

Nelly: *laying on the floor, she lazily lifts an arm.* Me tooooo.

Jelly: *looks up from playing with her skirt* I-I’ll certainly try.

Maya: …………………. *she raised the doll as her doll raises it’s hands but she her expression seemed bitter* ……….

Rasa: *her ears raise up at the loud voice. Since it was her first day here she didn’t know anyone yet, but decided to join in either way and walked closer to the dog eared boy with the loud voice* I’m in.

Neo: *tail wags happily seeing so many interested* Let’s play rock, paper scissors to decide who’s IT?

Al: Yeah, that works. So are we all okay with that? *agrees with Neo because he just wants to start the game*

Alicia: *Waves her hand* I don’t mind.  As long as we keep playing, anything is fine with me. *grins playfully*

Rubi: Yup. *agrees with Neo*

Nelly: *She’d rather figure it out with a game of ‘Nose goes’, but she nods.* Mhmm.

Jelly: I’ll play… but… I feel bad for whoever’s ‘IT’. I don’t really know what an ‘IT’ is, but it doesn’t sound very pleasant…

Maya: *she lifted the doll over her lips and they both nodded together* ……… I will play rock…… *she lifted her hand out already*

Rasa: *simply nods at the suggestion, deciding it works well*

Silvanus: *curiously puts the book down that tried to read in the corner and watches others gathering to play.* … *after moment of thought, bit shyly gets up and shuffles closer, as if wanting to join, but not yet sure.*

(Random number generator results.  Assuming that Neo is 1, Silvanus - 8; The loser is 2, meaning - Al. Let’s have everyone put out rock and Al - scissors?)

Neo: Let’s go then! One--two--three *puts out rock*  

Al: *follows Neo's lead* Rock--Paper--Scissors! *puts out a scissors and feels doomed*

Alicia: Rock, paper, scissors! *puts out rock following Neo, sees Al’s scissors and grins mischievously, her ears flicking in delight*

Rubi: Rock, paper, scissors! *puts out rock and notices Al's scissors*

Nelly: *glancing at the others, she also simply holds out a fist.*

Jelly: *somehow also manages to be rock. Letting out a breath of relief, Jelly slumped*

Silvanus: *uncertainly shuffling besides, decide to try his luck and throws out a rock at the call, not sure if others will count or not.*

Rasa: *throws out a rock purely out of laziness to change her fist into anything else. Seeing that she is not IT, she slips away silently to go to hide.*

Neo: It looks like Al is IT. *glances at Al with a grin* Well then - whoever is found, joins in to help Al search for the rest. Count till fifty... the whole house is fine to hide in - no going out! If Al finds us all before dinner - he wins. If anyone holds out till then, without being found  - they win.*quickly goes over rules to make things clear*  Winner gets priest’s secret stash of chocolates - I know where they are hidden. *whispers the last part, then runs off*

Al: *trying to decide if it was a good thing that he was IT. He finally decides that he didn't really care.* Allllrighty! I'll start counting now. *turns to face a wall and starts counting* 1, 2, 3…

Alicia: *Seeing that Al has already started counting, she dashes out into another room.  Frankly, she has not thought about any good hiding spots beforehand, but she is sure that she can find one soon enough.  Hmm… Somewhere unexpected…  Ah! Her eyes brighten as a place pops into her head.  She chuckles and quickly hides herself over there.*

Rubi: *As Al has started counting, she runs towards the door and goes upstairs. She hasn't thought about a hiding spot yet, so she panics a little bit as Al kept counting. She has to think for a while but finally found a spot in another room to hide herself*

Nelly: *conflicted, she hops to her feet and runs around, trying to find a decent spot. No, it musn’t be decent. She really wanted those chocolates. So she picked the attic, finding what she deemed to be a very sneaky, (however, very dusty) spot to hide.*

Jelly: *Scurries to the kitchens and hides in the pantry, on one of the topmost shelves*

Maya: *she stood still even when Al started counting, she looked left and right as they scurried around to find a hiding spot* …….. *she wasn’t sure where to hide, she looked at Al again and simply crouched down under the table right next to him* ……. *she then reached out the doll to hide her face, yes this was definitely the best spot*

Silvanus: *takes a spin on his heel around, looking which direction to take. Ends up picking a random one, quickly finding a rather discrete spot behind the couch. Easy enough to move a bit, to avoid being noticed, hopefully. Yes, it will work! Sil crouches down.*

Rasa: *opens a cupboard on the second floor, takes out some books that are inside and puts them on the top of it. She then climbs inside, carefully closing the doors behind her, so that no cracks remain*

Neo: *frantically looks around on the second floor and runs to the window, climbs on the windowsill and closes the curtains, not noticing that the light behind him clearly makes his silhouette visible*

Al: *continues counting* "28...29...40...wait it's 30...31.." *hears everyone escape the room he was in. After a while, he reaches 50. He decides to start checking. As he walks around the room, he thought he heard breathing coming from somewhere in the room near the floor. Putting his finger to his temple, he wondered whether he should check just in case. He starts looking near the floor for cupboards. Then he crouches on the floor, looking under the sofas and tables. Bingo. he spots a cumimi with a doll covering their face. W-what...? * "Um, you there under the table..." *looks like Maya's doll*

Alicia: *is getting nervous as the counting begins to end.  She fidgets uncomfortably in the drawer of a cabinet, which is too compact even for her small build.  Her position is rather awkward, for she has to hug her knees to her chest.  She doesn’t even know how she managed to close the drawer, but she did leave a small slit for her to breathe and look.* How long does it have to last for… *mutters quietly to herself*

Rubi: *can't hear Al anymore which meant that he reached 50. She is trying to be as quiet as possible but the little amount of dust under the bed made her feel uncomfortable*

Nelly: *instantly realizes she has to go to the bathroom. Why does she always have to go during hide and seek?!?! However, she does her best to get comfortable in her hiding place. She lifts up a sheet that was covering an old mirror, which is covered in dust. So Nelly decides to make the best of this situation and draw pictures with her finger in the dusty mirror to pass the time.*

Jelly: *Happily seating in the pantry, Jelly’s small hands grope around the area for something to snack on while she waits. She is glad she chose a location with food, though she very much doubts she’s supposed to be sneaking snacks between meals.*

Maya: *sits there and shook her head unwilling to be the first to be found* ……….. *after a bit she slowly admits her defeat and puts her doll down her face but unhappily stares at Al like it was his fault that she’s been found…. well technically it is…. she slowly crawled out of the table bumping her head once on the edge of the table but she pretends nothing happened as she just holds onto the doll closer to her and pouts* ………………. *she is now going to help Al find everyone else because she didn’t think it was fair that she was the only one being found as she headed to the other room* ………..

Silvanus: *carefully pulls legs closer, ears twitching to hear any footsteps, not sure if hiding place is safe or not, though out of the way and eyes. Maybe no-one will think of looking someplace so simple?*

Rasa: *falls asleep inside the cupboard*

Neo: *is sitting on the windowsill comfortably and silently, completely unaware, that his silhouette is clearly visible on the curtains. Smiles happily thinking this must be the best hiding place in universe*

Al: *cringes when Maya bumps her head on the table, but she looks unfazed. He looks at Maya as she stands up and walks into the other room while pouting* U-um...*unsure whether to follow her or go another direction to search. He decides that to cover more ground, he'll leave her to search alone. He makes his way to the 2nd floor*to search alone, while he heads to the 2nd floor*

Alicia: *secretly wishes someone to find her already, since the air in the drawer is getting hotter due to lack of ventilation.*

Rubi: *is lying under her bed, not knowing that her tail is sticking out*

Nelly: *she ends up drawing a puppy, an elephant, and an owl as she waits.*

Jelly: *still sitting amongst the food, she begins to nod off*

Silvanus: *carefully moves to try to look around the sofa and not give up his hiding place. Ears twich, listening for footsteps.*

Rasa: *is soundly sleeping in the cabinet on the second floor hallway leading to the black side, books being on top of the cabinet give away that something has changed there, even if the doors were shut and no sounds came from it.*

Neo: *still sitting happily on the window at the end of the hallway, but is now listening closely, he thought he heard some footsteps nearby. He tries to keep still, almost 99% sure no one would be smart enough to find him. His feet are not sticking out, he checks with confidence and is completely oblivious to the shadow he cast on the curtains and floor*

Al: *walks on the second floor, looking left and right in the rooms for anything unusual. He knew he should have called for Maya’s help to look together. He sighs, and suddenly sees a weird shadow coming from one of the rooms. It was in a shape of a person..?!* *turns into the and sees a shadow of a cumimi sitting on the window sill. Al stared ridiculously at the shadow. * “Do they not realize they can be seen?” *walks up and decided to pull the curtains apart* Oh.

Alicia: *tries to move a little, but her elbow accidently bumps on the inside of the drawer.  Ouch! *She wailed quietly, not knowing if anybody heard that.*

Rubi: *is still lying under her bed, tail sticking out and trying to be very quiet*

Nelly: *sits down, looking at what she drew on the dusty mirror.* Would there be mermaid cumumis? *she wonders, her eyes widening at the thought. Mermaids. Gosh darn mermaids! *hopes they actually exist somewhere.*

Maya: *she walked into the room and looked around, she sniffed a bit and cringed* …….. *it’s not like she was able to sniff anyone out but she walked closer to where the drawers were (Alicia, she’s almost there) and stood there* ………… *she shook her head and walked away and crouched down with her doll in hand to check under tables* ………… *the feathers from her ears twitched when she turned to the drawers again and was spooked cause one of the drawers were open, she went towards the drawer closer and used her feet to push the drawer back in, leaving now…. no air for breathing for Alicia*

Rasa: *continues sleeping soundly, quite close to the window, where Neo was just found*

Neo: *tries to hold his breath hearing footsteps, but was found anyway* Snap! How did you find me? *jumps off the windowsill and looks at Al curiously*

Al: *squints at Neo’s question.* Uh Neo...I hate to break it to you, but i could see your shadow… *wonders if they should split up to search or stay together*

Silvanus: *No one was coming to get him. Room looked empty for a moment and Sil moves a little bit out, before stops and shrinks back under couch. There is Maya at drawers at other side of room.*

Alicia: *feels the drawer getting shut.*...*thoughts go through her head, and she decides to hang on to dear life rather than stay hidden. She kicked the drawer, making a large noise intended to attract the attention of whoever closed it.*

Rubi: *feels tired and closes her eyes, soon falling asleep*

Nelly: *starts to get more and more bored, and ends up laying there on the attic floor behind an old dresser and in front of the mirror. * Man, I really hope I get those chocolates… *she thinks to herself.*

Rasa: *hearing the footsteps next to her hiding place, she wakes up and listens to those around.*

Neo: Oh.. *puts his hand over the curtain and - really - the silhouette is completely clear. Takes a note to check for something like that next time* Let’s search for others then… *carefully observes their surroundings, then walks up to the cabinet where Rasa was in, he had heard someone moving around and the books above it were a clear sign. Opens the doors and spots Rasa*

Al: *decides to walk on ahead and is closely approaching where Rubi is at. He looks into every room and checks every single corner. He is a few doors down from where Rubi is hiding.*

Maya: ?!?!?! *she flinched and winced as she tensed up a bit, she waited at the sound continued so she went closer and crouched down when she knocked on the drawer* ……………….. *she looked left and right before she placed the doll on her lap and used almost all the strength she had to pull the drawer out* hnnnnn~~~ > n <;;; *while she was pulling she notice she heard another noise as her fingers slipped away from the bottom of the drawer where she was pulling and due to physics of force, she swung backward and made one overhead roll stopping right next to the couch that Silvanus was hiding* ……………………….. *she looked to the side and made eye contact* ……………………… *tears welled up in her eyes due to the pain and the shock and confusion of what just happened*

Silvanus: *flinch back as girl rolls almost over to him, before their eyes locked. He is found, boy guesses, before ears move upright instead of down as before.* …. *is not sure what to do seeing her getting teary-eyed.* …… O-ok? *questions Maya uncertain.*

Al: *is so close to where Rubi is, but his ears pick up  a weird sound from downstairs. It sounded like a drawer closing shut and something hitting the floor. He wondered if someone was escaping their hideout, and ran quickly down back to the first floor to check. He turned into the room with the noise and sees half of a dress from being the couch, and a doll lying next to it.* Maya??

Alicia: O-ouch… *winces as Maya lets go and her head hit the top of the drawer, but thankfully she was able to have enough space to crawl out* Jeez, that was rough… Huh? *blinks and sees Maya sitting on the floor, teary-eyed* U-uh… Maya, are you all right? *Walks over to check on her, and notices Silvanus hiding under the sofa* Ah, you are here, too? *smiles warmly*

Rasa: *being found out, climbs out of the cabinet and sighs. Her ears raise up, hearing the loud sound from below, but she doesn’t feel like running down to look, so stays upstairs*

Neo: *runs right after Al and seeing Maya teary-eyed panics a bit, it was a really loud sound after all* Oh dear… *goes to pick Maya up in princess style, like it was an emergency* Are you hurt? Infirmary?! *turns around ready to run up-stairs*

Al: *feels a rush of wind behind him and sees Neo running past him to Maya. He watches Neo pick up Maya, ready to rush somewhere. Al looked at the scene confusedly, and steps away from the door, making way for Neo. He sidesteps and goes to the sofa to check for anything Maya might have dropped. He sees Alicia and Silvanus. 2 more down, just a few more cumimis to go. He picks up Maya's doll, and hands it to Maya who is in Neo's arms.*

Alicia: *doesn’t understand how the incident has become an assembly, but is relieved to see Maya being taken care of.*

Rubi: *wakes up due to the noise coming from downstairs (even though it was a rather short nap) and finally notices that her tail was sticking out and hid it, too*

Nelly: *hearing the noise faintly, she wonders what’s going on, but doesn’t want to risk her hiding place. But still concerned, she goes over to the attic entrance to try and hear what’s going on a little better.*


Maria’s voice from below called them all to dinner, signaling that the game was over.
